How can I get my RCA TV to switch to the AUX inputs without a remote?

Try channel 00, or 91. RCA is weird like that and made those the default settings for inputs. It was kind of smart on their part too, just in case you happened to lose the remote. Also since its an RCA brand TV you can walk into Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Circuit City, etc and pick up an RCA universal remote for $9.99, and all you need to do is pop in some batteries and you’re good to go.

  1. I understand this would typically work, however, the RCA TV I have seems to block the input and antennae buttons on the remote (making it useless) and channels 00 and 91 are both blocked on the TV as well. For the life of me can’t figure out how to get it to view the DVD player I just bought. Been frantically searching Google for a resolution, so far … I’ve had no luck unfortunately.

I’m assuming that my TV is just screwed and should just obtain a new TV and take this one out back and shoot it.
